NHA Maintenance & Work Orders

Norman Housing Authority Maintenance will respond to all NON-EMERGENCY work orders within 3-5 business days.

Regular Business Hours:

Monday - Thursday:

8:00am - 1:00pm & 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Friday:

8:00am - 12:00pm

**Closed on most National Holidays**

If the Public Housing Staff does not answer please leave a message including your name, your address, the problem you are experiencing and a phone number where you can be reached.

Inspections:

Norman Housing Authority performs a monthly Pest Extermination/Housekeeping inspection once a month on the following days:

Scattered Sites:

First THURSDAY of every month (with the exception of any major holidays)

Rose Rock Villa:

Second WEDNESDAY of every month

After Hours Emergencies

For after business hours, weekend, and holiday EMERGENCY work orders only: Call (405) 410-7523.

Do not call the 'After Hours' Emergency number during normal business hours as your call will not be answered.

Examples of Emergencies:

No Heat
No Air Conditioning
Leaking Faucets
Flooding
Backed up Toilets
Electrical Problems

Locked Out?

If you are locked out of your unit there is a $60.00 charge for Maintenance to unlock your unit.

Please leave a phone number where you can be reached and make sure you are at your unit within 15 minutes after you place the call to ensure you are onsite when Maintenance arrives to unlock your door. Maintenance will not wait on you to arrive.

You will also need to provide Maintenance with a current photo ID in order to gain access to the unit.

Have A Fire or A Break In?

If you have a fire or a break in and there is damage to the doors or windows in your unit please call 911 to respond. After you have called 911, during regular business hours contact the Public Housing Office at (405) 329-0933 X304

After hours, weekends, and holidays: Call 911 then the Maintenance on-call number.

For Safety Reasons:

Maintenance cannot work on outside air-conditioning units after dark, in the rain, or if the temperature is below 70 degrees.
